The British Czech Chamber of Commerce and St Clement’s Church in Prague have organised an interesting lunchtime event:

Dear Members and Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to: Ethics at Lunchtime on Wednesday 24 March from 12.30 to 2 p.m. at Zinc Restaurant, Hilton Prague Old Town, V celnici 7, 111 21 Prague.

A joint event organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic and St. Clement’s Anglican Episcopal Church.

The topic for discussion will be:

“Is religious faith necessary in order to have ethical values in business?”

Everyone is welcome but each person will be responsible for paying the Zinc Restaurant for their own lunch (390CZK exl VAT per person for a two course set menu including tea/coffee and petit fours).

Unfortunately, this is a day earlier than I can personally make, but I would have loved to go and I dare say many of my readers would also like to have their say on these issues! never fear, we have unlimited commenting space and your comments are welcome, even though on this blog the readers’ comments seem to be as rare as hen’s teeth!
